Summary: This is truly the decade of some of the most monstrous evil clowns ever put to cinema. But one stands above them all. Only Pennywise could hope to eclipse the sheer mind-breaking brutality of this awful joker. The terror of Art the clown.
History: In this world, if a demon wishes to enter the mortal world, it requires an escort in the form of only the most depraved of mortals. For a demon known only as the Entity (or the Little Pale Girl for a time), that mortal is Art, an indescribably violent and insane clown who doesn't talk. Embued with demonic immortality, Art and his unholy pal spread fear and utterly VISCERAL murder everywhere they go.
Notable Kills: Ahem...ALL OF THEM!!! Drawn-out mutilation, agonizing torture, BLOWING UP A WHOLE MALL FULL OF CHILDREN, there is no such thing as a normal demise at his hands! Okay, he did shoot someone, but he was really disappointed about it.
Final Fate: No matter how much damage Art takes, he always bounces back to cause further pain and suffering. He's been shot, decapitated, his throat sliced, but he always comes back for more...and yet, despite all of that, there is still hope. Just as the demons have him as their champion, so too do the angels. That mortal, Sienna Shaw, was last seen ready to enter Hell to retrieve her magic angelic sword, rescue her cousin, and maybe even take down Art once and for all. That being said, the Entity seeks to possess her if it can break her. The fight continues...
Powers/Abilities: Art cannot die. He just can't.
Weakness: Conventional means can hurt him, or at the very least subdue him for a long time. But only one chosen by Heaven can truly kill him.
Scariness Factor: 4.5-Art utters nary a peep. He doesn't have to. All he needs is the horrible screaming and agony of his victims. In case the above didn't clue you in, Art is a true monster clown. Granted, he can be genuinely hillarious at times, but it's usually before he scars us for life with a demented murder. And that's not even getting into his demon benefactor, who completely lacks his sense of humor, but is just as awful.
Trivia: -The first film received a straight sequel in 2015, but it had nothing to do with the original, and Art was nowhere to be seen.
-Art was played by Mike Giannelli in the first film, and David Howard Thornton for the rest of the films. It should be noted that Thornton was also the Joker in the webseries "Nightwing: Escalation".
